What are Members Saying About FR?

I agree with the addictive part! This site is easy to use, has always had books that interest me and has a great group of traders. The books have been in better shape than those on another site I've tried. I've made FrugalReader my book trading site of choice.

FrugalReader is addictive. I love being a FrugalReader member & I'm so glad I found this site. I tell everyone I know about it (even some I don't know!) :) Thanks for the site & keep up the great work!

I love FrugalReader.

OMG I just love FrugalReader. I am having so much fun requesting, waiting and getting the books. Its like Christmas and I love it. I have gotten some wonderful books and what is fun I do not have to go out and get them, they come to me. Who could ask for anything better.

Why I love FR.

Because I can get great books here that I would have had to pay $7-$15 anywhere else.
Because I went from having tons of books that I've read to having tons of books to read ( I have to get reading my bookshelf is bare!!)
Because I've met some COOL people here, that love to read as much as I do!
Because it's a good fun ADDICTION...and FR Supports my habit.
Because...Because..okay I could probably write a book about FR.....I stop right there...LOL

I agree. As another SAHM I don't have a lot of extra money for books and I love to read. I'd ok to go to the library, but come on, do I get to browse with my 2 and 4 year olds? Not really, but here I do!!! They go to bed and I can browse here and use credits, not grocery money. I love recycling too, and this is just a great site all around. I'm waiting for some of the dozen people to whom I have made referrals to join! Thanks for being here. :)

Just last week I recieved 4 books in my mailbox on ONE day. It was like Christmas. I like the concept of this site so much better then going to a used book store.

While "trading" there I can't get enough back on a book that is in "like new" condition to buy another used book that is in just "good" condition. Here I can trade a book for a book. And everyone is a winner. Even if you have to buy credits it is cheaper then going to the UBS.

Sure there are other sites but I prefer the layout of this one. It's very user friendly AND the Customer Service here is fast AND friendly.

I love the site and I really love the forums. The members here are great, and I love how if you have a question, not only would Customer Service answer it, but so would about 5-10 others with the voice of experience. I am still fairly new and learning the ropes, but now that I have it I wouldn't give it up for anything!

FrugalReader is great! As a stay-at-home mom, money is a little tight. But I love books! This site lets me trade my books for ones that I want, that I would not otherwise be able to purchase. I have tons of books that I normally try to sell at yard sales but no one ever seemed interested in them. I was amazed at how quickly FR members requested my books. The members are great too. I can't tell you how many times books I requested came with a little  "surprise" with the book. I also love reading the forums. It's amazing how quickly everyone is to help another member. This is the only trading site I belong to and wouldn't even think of going elsewhere!

FR is above what I imagined...

What a great place to meet people who share the same passion of reading! I have already met a member who requested three books from me just so I could become a premium member! Wow, what a nice person!!  I also think the member profiles is a very neat tool. I found out through this profile tool that this member and I have a lot in common - especially authors!

This is a great place to meet people and feed my habit of reading!! Way to go FR!! Keep up the good work!

I am so glad I found FR 10 months ago. I cleaned out most of my read books and now I have a box of unread books in my closet. Slowly I'm getting through those and I'll be able to replenish with other books as I trade more. It's a great site and I love the games and new forums.

Thank you for being here.

What's not to love about Frugal Reader? Every person I've requested from or shipped to has been amiable. The members are friendly and helpful. The book selection is good, and it's always growing. And the reason everyone praises the Customer Service here is because it's well deserved. The Customer Service here is the fastest, most efficient, courteous, hard-working, kind souls - bar none. They go a long way in making this site such a great place to be a part of.

Thanks, Frugal Readers (CS and members alike).

What do I think of FrugalReader.com?

Here is a cut-and-paste of an actual email that I sent to a fellow member tonight. This is my "testimonial" to FrugalReader.com:

Bonnie,
Did you get the copy of the message from Customer Service about how to handle  this?  They have already returned my credits and sent you a message about how to relist the book. Thanks again for working this out with me.

I gotta' tell you - the Customer Service at FrugalReader.com is the greatest! I have never experienced the service anywhere that FrugalReader.com gives its members. They are so helpful and they are fast! They have been "Johnny on the Spot" each time I had a question and quick to resolve any problem.

Again, welcome to FrugalReader.com and Happy Reading.

Now, that's what I think of this site!

Customer service is A-1!! I like how I was able to choose from being a paid member or standard when I joined. Members are awesome! Being able to assign credit value whether by default or our own choice is a great plus. Book selection is great! Knowing that we as members are part of a family and not just a number or a way for the owners to make a buck is something that makes a difference. We are listened to, and we listen to each other and do our best to make this place THE place to trade books on the net as rbritton said.  : )

I love it here!

Frugalreader.com is THE trading site. I initially joined because I had some books on my shelves that I wanted toe get rid of to make room for new ones I keep buying. Obviously this has not worked because I have been TRADING AND REPLACING each book I have gotten rid of. The quantity of books I get to choose from is amazing. Obviously, I love this site. The one fringe benefit that I did not expect was the networking and communications with the members. We have spirited and lively discussions. We are all individuals and do not always agree iwth each other, but the opportunit to meet and interact with people I otherwise would not have an opportunity to meet is great. It should also be mentioned that our Customer Service representative is so responsive and in tune with the members, like nothing you will see anywhere else. I do believe that Frugalreader.com should come with a warning though. USE AND LOGGING ONTO THIS WEBSITE IS ADDICTIVE!!!!!!!!  Thanks to all of our members for all that we do to make this work.

FrugalReader is my favorite trading site. Customer service is definitely more friendly than the other places. What I like is that when someone requests one of our books, their mailing information is included in the email we're sent. We don't have to come here and login to get the information. We also get an email when one of our requests has been shipped and when one of our books is received, we get an email letting us know. That, I love. The forum is divided up into catagories, which helps keep things in order. That's a plus. And customer service actually listens to its members when considering new enhancements to the site.

And most important of all, the site is free to use and I appreciate it. Keep up the good work FrugalReader!  :-)

FR is great. I currently belong to quite a few book trading sites. But this is the only one where poeple really get involved in the different things that FR provides. Would have to say this is my favorite site. Keep up the good work.

Recently I had two issues regarding books. I was searching for particular books from one author and also one book I was having a hard time getting, even on special order. I reached out on the forum to FR members and was instantly PM'd with solutions to both issues.

FR, to me, has the most accommodating and giving membership I can imagine on any website. The graciousness of the members allowed me to meet a friend's desire to read a particular author and mine to find a book I had on order for months, but never came.

For any new members that are unsure of what FR wishes to achieve, I believe, it is about the love of books and reading and the desire to pass it on to others and exchange items of interest to each of us.

While I personally thanked the members who assisted me, I would also like to thank FR for allowing each of us to be able to assist others, as well as ourselves in our hobby.
